1. Nature of the service and limitations

Acu provides tools for daily self-management support for people with tinnitus (background sound, notched music, daily logging, breathing exercises and reports). Results vary between individuals and no outcome is guaranteed. The sound tools are mainly suited to tonal tinnitus and may be less effective for other types.

2. When to seek urgent medical care

If you experience sudden or one-sided tinnitus, pulsatile tinnitus, new hearing loss, severe dizziness or neurological symptoms, you must seek medical evaluation without delay. Acu does not detect these conditions and must not be used in place of seeing a doctor.

3. Acceptance of terms

Using Acu means you accept these terms. If you disagree with any part, do not use it.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you log (such as tinnitus severity and frequency).
• Use safe sound levels; loud settings can damage hearing.
• Keep your account and password secure.
• Provide accurate information to your specialist if connected to a clinic.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Acu for unlawful purposes, to harm others, or to reverse-engineer or copy its technical components.

6. Intellectual property

The Acu name, logo, design and code belong to the Beshno Audiology Group. Personal audio files you upload remain yours; Acu makes no claim over their content.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is". No warranty is given regarding uninterrupted, error-free access or therapeutic outcomes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Beshno Audiology Group is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use Acu. Final treatment decisions must always be made with a specialist.

9. Changes to the service and terms

Features or these terms may change. Continued use after changes are announced constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
